Gisela Simas’ artistic DNA is based on subtle restlessness, latent playfulness, and a wealth of experience with Brazilian modernist design.

“What we express is nothing more than the sum of countless experiences. My creations are first formed in my heart, then completed in my mind, until they take shape in real life. They are the result of the places I have been and the personal relationships and encounters woven, permeated by the ethics and aesthetics of beauty and sustainability,” says Gisela.

Sustainability is also a key word in the journey of this designer who is passionate about Brazil.

Whether it is in the elegant humor of the “Bar Milan” that masterfully and technically combines depth, breadth, and generosity, in the innovative and comfortable functionality of the “Lucrécia” table, in the natural beauty of the “Congonhas lamp,” or in the search for quality and safety in processes with a loyal and long-standing team by her side, Gisela continues to seek to value Brazilian design, in all its different manifestations, on the world stage.

Also acting as the “main” of her eponymous brand, which is constantly expanding, she moves between emotion and management.
