Gisela Simas’ work mixes innovation, influences of Brazilian’s modernism and sofisticated production tecniques expressed by a bold design. Impressive forms, combining extreme elegance and fluid movements in a very personal style, transform the wood, her passion.
The designer runs studios in London, where she lived for ten years, and Rio de Janeiro. In 2018 Gisela was assigned with European Design Award for her “Congonhas” lamp, and in 2019 has nominated for German Design Award.
